Advice During the Coronavirus Restrictions

Rainscourt Family Law Solicitors will remain fully operational for the duration of the ongoing Coronavirus restrictions.

We are fully equipped to continue supporting our clients during this period. All of our clients will receive an uninterrupted full service.

Our office is temporarily closed to visitors and we will no longer be offering face to face meetings. We can still provide telephone and video call consultations.

The Family Court is still open, and judges are available to hear cases by phone or video link. The following types of private family law cases can still be held remotely:

  • First Hearing Dispute Resolution Appointments
  • Dispute Resolution Appointments
  • Other interim hearings
  • Simple short contested cases
  • Injunction applications where there is no evidence that is to be heard (or only limited evidence).
  • Financial Cases
  • Appeals.
